A 60-year-old patient suddenly becomes hypotensive. Instead of blind fluid resuscitation, you use POCUS. You see a hyperdynamic heart and a flat IVC. The diagnosis: Severe hypovolemia. You treat with fluids confidently and watch the heart fill in real-time.
